It is very tough and the worst part is we really don&#39;t even realize there is a problem at all until it is to late. I am blessed to have a wife that keeps me in check with the meds and my appointments. I have some other friends who are bipolar. It&#39;s frustrating when they go off their meds because they go into a severe downward spiral.
