Very Good Day (First Entry)

Today was a really great and productive day! I got a late start on getting to the studio but made it there just in time. I really missed Kris and the kids today as they had to go to Terre Haute for the exciting dentist appointment! Keirsten (Daddy's Munckin) will end up having to have 2 teeth pulled, but they are just baby teeth and will grow back with no problems. She has such a pretty smile when she is happy. My oldest, Kaycee had her teeth cleaned and they found some cement left from her braces! Yuck! She was in a pretty grumpy mood today but that is your typical teenager for ya. My beautiful wife Kris is straight from heaven as she keeps us all in line each day and makes sure we all are where we are suppose to be.

Kris was in a really good mood today but we didn't see much of each other at all today. I will do a separate blog on her and I soon! She had such a busy day with driving and had to go to the Channel 10 news station this morning to get my suite case I left in Kevin's car. This was during the Ashmore Experiment I did with Kevin Orpurt our local meteorologist. Kris's get's home and its off to the radio studio for me, I am a talk radio host by trade and own the Haunted Voices Radio Network www.hvrnc.com .

I get into the studio and was late and that is not normal for me at all! I fumbled around and got settled, check my messages and so on. I then called Gina (My personal Assistant) to get up do date on emails and phone messages. Of course I called my good friend and Webmaster Alex to get up to date on the website and radio program as he is also my Network Manager. Alex is a really great friend as well as employee and in the 5 years I have known him, I have yet to see him upset. He lives in the United Kingdom and wow can the British work!

So all is caught up after several calls on my cell as well as skype and it was time to call my good friend and Co-Host Joel Sturgis. Joel and I really hit it off when we met about two weeks ago and we get along great. It is so hard to find someone to help Host a show with you that isn't stuck on himself! Joel isn't that way and him and I host our own program called Air Strike Radio. It is what you call "Alternative" Talk Radio which covers a wide variety of topics so we are not labeled as one "brand". Joel also helps me Host my weekly shows as well except for Monday nights as that is reserved for Phil and I.

The show tonight started at 8pm CST and we had guests Richard Kimmel and his daughter Karen Timper on the program. It was a great show and the audience really interacted with both guests. There were some great points tossed out there about Paranormal television shows and Richard taught us all a few things about WWII Haunted Artifacts. some of the things Richard has gone through is really amazing! We had a few technical problems tonight with our phone system and I am just waiting on some more memory for my computer to fix that issue.

After the show I talked to Ben for a bit and it was already time to come home. The time really flew by today and I have this "have I done anything today" feeling. It was a great ride home with my wife Kris and she brought me up to speed on her daily events. Came home and while Kris was watching a bit of TV I was fixing my laptop as it is getting pretty old but we have been through a lot together so I don't want it replaced.

I tried a new program tonight called "TweetDeck" and really like it. It is so much easier to update all of my social networks now! I am trying to get Kris to use it but she enjoys doing it the old way better. Kris was getting sleepy after about an hour and since her and I both have to get up early. I tucked Kris into bed like I do every night that I can and she drifted off to sleep. I came back out to the living room and tuned in to the Pat & Brian show www.beyondinvestigation.com . They are on my network as well and are great guys! Tonight they were talking about the "Ghost Hunters" TV show and how they were busted faking evidence. I was talking in their chat room and the chat admin told me they wanted me to call into the show.

I got a quick drink refill and dialed the number. They have an awesome call in system and it sounds very professional. I was on hold due to them being on break at the time, but they got me right in there. On the air we talked about all of these TV shows and how they impact the general public. It is really getting bad out there. We discussed our points of view on how long this will go on as well as some of the things they were exposed for. The show got over about 2 am CST and I hung up the phone with a huge weight lifted off my shoulders due to me venting about all of that.

Afterwards I got up and did my "check-in" rounds on both the wife and kids to make sure they were all covered up and safe in their beds. 10 minutes later the munchkin gets up and asks me for a glass of lemonade. It was so cute as I hadn't seen her all day and wanted to keep her up for a bit, but with school this morning, not an option. I got them all covered up and nice and warm (they have no idea I go in to see them each night). I read online for a bit after that and researched this whole Blog thing. I read that it is very therapeutic and helps keep the mind sharp and focused as well.

I came here and built this page so I could document my daily life on here for all of you fine people. They say thousands of people do the very same thing as everyone likes to tell their stories and have others read and comment on them. Something about how it makes everyone feel more normal, whatever normal is LOL. I like it because life is far to short to take for granted and I want to remember all of the moments I can, no matter how small they really are. I will go through here once a month and read all of my posts to see if it sparks even more. They say it is one of the best ways to securely story a memory. I didn't realize blogging was so powerful for the mind and body as well as everyone around you! So far I am very impressed with this blog site as it is simple to use and has a ton of great features to help others get to know you better.

Well it is officially 3:35 am CST and my day is WAY over its course. I am going to blog about how Kris and I met and then call this a night! I am getting very tired and doing this sure helps you relax, just like that said it would. If your skeptic about trying this, take it from me as I thought it was a joke, TRY it!

Until the next post.....
