My Day Off

Today I decided to take the day from radio land. I used this time to spend with my family and catch up on some things on the back burner. I woke up very early this morning to help Kris take our 3 dogs to the groomers to get their hair cuts. They were REALLY bad and in need of a good shave. One of them was so bad it even had some hair wrapped around it's teeth! LOL sorry that was just wrong but to dam funny. So we get them home and Kris and I decided to take a couple hour nap to catch up on some needed rest. We get up and Kris goes to grab the kids from school and run a few errands. The munchkin comes home with some turkeys they made in school using their hands and decided to make a few more here. My oldest went to a ballgame with her friends and then skipped to a midnight showing of the new Twilight movie that came out.

Kris and I stayed home with the little one and it was homework time for her. Kris helped her with her homework and I cooked some dinner. Fried Chicken that wasn't the best in the world but edible. After dinner everyone did their own thing for a bit and then it was time for Keirsten to get to bed. She was asleep and Kris and I decided to watch a movie. I let her pick the film and tonight it was "All about Steve". It was a pretty funny movie but I have seen better. The ending was pretty cool and we decided to watch another. We had our stacks of goodies and Kris picked the Night at the museum 2 movie. She fell asleep during half of it and it was time to tuck her into bed next. She was beat and ready for some good rest. I finished watching the movie and dam that was funny!



I really had a great day off with the family and can't wait for this weekend when I am off again. I have a show tomorrow night at 8pm CST with guest Tim Miller and well be talking about JFK evidence as well as some books from www.flatsignpress.com . Joel will be co hosting with me tomorrow and I am sure it will be a great show. I am not doing a late show tomorrow night as far as I know, but who knows how that can change. I am off to bed myself after this post and checking a few emails from Gina. Gina is really helping me out with the email and phone calls and this is bringing me a lot more time to devote at home now. The hours are starting to shorten up a bit and much more is getting done thanks to her. Things are more productive now and finished in a timely manner instead of me juggling all of them at one time. What a mess that was!

Alex started his own blog to as I talked to him today for a bit and his first post was called "Todd's Fault" LOL what did I do now! It was a really good day and I look forward to more of them soon. This weekend I will spend in the yard raking and burning leaves. That is Kris and I's favorite pass time. I just hope she doesn't melt the siding on the house again this time.. she is so dam cute! Wrapping this up for now and getting some rest.
